Some people forget an appointment –
Others forget the debts they owe –
Some forget what day it is –
And some just never know.

But I should take “first prize” in all –
My mind in a fog –
While once precision was my way –
I now have slipped a “clog”.

So sorry I forgot the date –
I do need a reminder,
