For the first time in nearly 40 years Democrats control the Governors office, the state Senate, the state House, Secretary of State and Attorney General.

In three short months Michigan has seen the following legislation passed: a major tax package, repealed right-to-work, expanded L.G.B.T.Q. protections, repealed the 1931 abortion ban and are pursuing anti-gun violence measures.

None of this would have happened had the people, you and me, had not voted. We made our voices heard through our vote and it mattered!
