501 originally opened as a Tapas bar. They still specialize in small plates, but their menu has expanded to include dinners, etc.
The food here is always excellent, I can never remember a bad meal here.
My favorite small plates include: Trio Of Spreads, Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, Lettuce Wraps, and my every visit order, the Bacon Wrapped Dates.
My dinner go to orders include: Fish & Chips, Chicken & Waffles or Blackened Salmon.
They boast a decent custom cocktail list and have an impressive craft beer selection.
It is always clean and has a certain chic feel to it.
Service can at times be hit and miss. I have never experienced bad waitstaff here, though there has been occasions where they appeared to be indifferent and even seemed to grudgingly do their job.
