I am a proud card-carrying introvert (fiction)

I am a proud card-carrying introvert. Other people? Bah, to hell with them. I have me, myself and I, so who else would I need? I spit on the grave of those disgusting extroverts, their loud voices and attention stealing ways.

What is my dream of a perfect life? A small cabin in the middle of 40 acres of woods that has easy accessibility for the delivery drivers. Never again having the need for ‘social’ interaction. Just leave me and my part of the world alone.

A few years ago, this dream came true. I retired, bought the land, built the house and left social interaction behind me. Goodbye cruel world! Ha, watch me now! Oh that’s right you can’t.
