Last Christmas for my family I made three different little booklets (or chapbooks) that included the writings of myself, my Great Aunt Kate and my mother in-law Gaylia Kenslow-Stogsdill. To print these, it was about $7.50 each at Staples, plus my time in folding and stapling them. Recently I needed a few more copies and a friend of mine Nic, told me about self-publishing on Amazon and that it would be cheaper. All that said I guess I am now a published writer.

Six poems, four essays and an introduction essay by me. Plans are in place to also do the same with Kate’s and Gaylia’s works
