Is the title confusing? Maybe so, but in reality, it should not be any more confusing than any organized religion.

Almost every religion has the Golden Rule tucked into their teachings, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” That and the fact that most utilize scripture and buildings, the ability to find common ground stops. Each has twisted teachings and holy writings to suit themselves.

I propose that we begin to just pull out of each, the parts that work for us. Don’t like that sin? Make it not a sin. Struggling to fit in? Change the mold. Want to judge your neighbor? Select the rules that apply. 

I think we would all be happier. Yes? No? Maybe? See we can’t be sure.

Why we could take this one step further and like children playing a board game for the first time and make the rules up as we go. It is so easy after all to twist scripture to fit the situation.
