•First General Baptist Church of Jackson joined the Michigan Association.
1944
•Central General Baptist joined the Michigan Association.
•Mrs. Pearl Chambers was listed as a delegate from the Jackson church.
1945
•At the March 10th Presbytery, Mrs. Pearl Chambers from the Jackson church was licensed to preach the Gospel. Her Pastor was Rev. Virgil Meader.
1946
•Mrs. Pearl Chambers was re-licensed to preach the Gospel. Her Pastor was Rev. W. D. Rich.
1947
•Mrs. Pearl Chambers was re-licensed to preach the Gospel. Her Pastor was Rev. Robert Davis.
•The Presbytery noted that Mrs. Cambers was in the hospital with tuberculosis. A motion was made and carried to collect an offering for flowers with any balance to go to Mrs. Chambers.
1948
•In the March setting, Mrs. Chambers gave the message and it was said that it was very stirring. In the August setting she was issued a permanent license. No Pastor was listed for Jackson church this year.
1949
•Mrs. Chambers was listed as being at school (Oakland City). Her Pastor was Rev. Gordon C. Olson.
1950
•Mrs. Chambers was listed as a delegate to the Association.
•The Presbytery report reflects that she spoke 58 times during the year.
•West Flint joined the Michigan Association.
1951
•The Pastor of Jackson church was Rev. Floyd B. Gubb.
•At the March setting a letter was shared from Mrs. Chambers. It was dated 10-28-50 and was postmarked Guam. In it she returned her license stating that she felt led to do so because of being re-married.
•A letter from the Central church requested the examination and licensing of Mrs. Vanita Hanley. She was licensed. Her Pastor was Rev. D. O. Robbins.
•In addition at the March setting a motion was made and passed to form a committee to look into the practice of licensing re-married candidates and female candidates. This committee met on July 14, 1951 for the last time and voted (“though not by unanimous vote”) to recommend to the Presbytery not to license female candidates.
•At the August setting the Presbytery adopted the resolution.
1957
•The West Flint church requested the examination and licensing of Mrs. Louise Simpson. Her Pastor was Rev. Curtis Dunn.
•The Examination of Ministers Committee requested a decision of the Presbytery on if the resolution of 1951 was still valid. A motion was made and carried to abolish the resolution.
•Mrs. Simpson was licensed.
