There Once Was a Man
There once was a man,
Who tried not to give a damn.
He tried to ignore,
Yet his mind said, “Be more”!
So, he pushed his betterment down,
And often looked like a clown.
You see he thought love,
Would fly to him like a dove.
And acceptance would fill his life,
But all he found was strife.
So, he died alone.
Forgotten and unknown.
