Hey What About Us?



We strive to provide better,

For the offshoots of our loins.

Better education.

Better life experiences.

Adventures untold.



My life has been blessed,

With five of the female persuasion,

And one fine son in-law.

All living their dreams,

Expanding their lives.



But  sadly, in the dust,

I often feel left behind.

Scrambling to get an update,

Yearning for a tale or two.

Oh. Please don’t forget the old folks       .



Send us a text or two or three,

Post a pic,

Maybe even call occasionally.

The finest would be a short-lived visit,

Cause we live for hugs and news.



Be safe though,

Continue on,

Leave the world,

A better place for those after you,

We love you all.
