MAKING GOOD by Katherine Cary Place
We can make good if we only will,
No life is too hopeless nor gray,
Perhaps we have failed in the past,
There are glories worth winning today.
Let us send out a thought of what we would be,
And forget past mistakes that are dead,
Keep our eyes on the goal, - it is not far away,
If only we keep pushing ahead.
Let us be divine – God is all and in all,
He is wisdom and simple supple,
If we get to the way where God is supreme,
No harm and no lack can come nigh.
Turn away from all seeming disorder and pain,
It is well to think wholeness and health,
And manifest what He would us attain,
For God is life, wisdom and wealth.
We can make good if we only will,
No life too hopeless or gray,
Though we’ve failed in the past when we might have achieved.
` Their glories worth winning today.
