Sherri – who is blonde, with eyes of blue –
Seventeen months of impishness too –
It’s taken a while for her to adjust –
To uncles and aunts, with whom she’d fuss.
She’d make a face at Uncle Herb –
And cry when Aunt Gayle tried to disturb.
Kirstie thinks you’re the grandest yet –
And if you’d allow – you’d be her pet!
There’s not much to write at seventeen months –
But wait a few years – we’ll write volumes is my hunch.
