Mrs. F. E. Odell, Well Known Here, Dies in Michigan Mrs. F. E. Odell, a resident of Flint for the past 21 years, died at the home of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma J. Smith, 2415 N. Saginaw Street, Flint, on Wednesday, February 16. She had made her home with Mrs. Smith since the death of her husband two years ago.
Mrs. Odell was talented in a literary way, having composed a book of poems, and also painted several pictures. Mrs. Odell, with her husband, spent 15 winters in St. Petersburg, where she was president of the Michigan tourist society and had a host of friends.
She was a member of the Congregational church of Flint, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the History Class of ’76.
She leaves a son-in-law, Clare Morse, also three grandchildren, Mildred, Florence, and John Morse, all of Metamora, and two nieces, Mrs. C G. Webster and Mrs. J. N. Barton
