Veva by Katherine Carey-Place 1878-1934

Just a little woman, tender and true,
Just a little mother that loves as mothers do,
But a friend that’s full of cheer,
A friend you trust and tell your secrets to.

Just a little woman, frail and weak,
Just a little mother mild and meek,
But the glory of her smile,
Makes you feel that life’s worthwhile,
Makes you strive for noble things in life to seek.

Just a little woman, doing noble things each day,
Living, giving always, never asking love nor pay,
If all the gifts were mine to give,
	That come from up above,
I’d send her wealth and happiness and shower it all with love.
